Where it all began

I have been in the Sewing Machine Industry for 40 years. I started my career with Viking sewing machine company in 1973, working in the parts department and warehouse. After 2 years, I transferred to the service department. I was sent to Husqvarna Sweden for training on the Viking machines. I was quickly promoted to National Service Manager. My duties included servicing machines in house, and putting on service clinics across the US training Viking dealers. In 1981, I transferred to Fresno, California to set up the Viking Sewing Machine Company Western division service and dealer training facility.

I worked for Viking and affiliated dealers for 18 years. In 1990, I moved back home to Minneapolis to start Dr. Willy’s Sewing and Sharpening.

Where I am today

Dr. Willy’s Sewing and Sharpening is located in Crystal, MN! I provide expert service on sewing machines, and sergers (at this time I do not service embroidery machines).
